Health Fair

2018 will be the 12th year FAI has hosted a health fair at the conference. Sign up for individual services below. General information is also available at the health fair regarding drug addiction, healthly living on the road, carpal tunnel, and more.

Vision Screenings

  Thursday & Friday (Feb. 15 & 16), 10am-4pm, Pershing South Ballroom

Sight & Sound along with America's Best Eyeglasses and Contacts will be offering free vision screenings, glasses, readers, and sunglasses to all artist delegates. Reserve your spot online - walkup appointments based on availability.

  Thursday & Friday (Feb. 15 & 16), 10am-5pm, Pershing South Ballroom

RockDocs are certified, licensed and insured Medical Doctors that provide care to artists at the FAI Conference. Screenings, HIV tests, nutritional counseling, check and treat blood pressure, blood sugar, asthma, musculoskeletal problems, skin problems, allergies, cold and sinus; Mental health and substance abuse diagnosis and treatment, smoking cessation counseling, and understanding the Affordable Care Act. All services are free and confidential. Signups available onsite at the Health Fair in Pershing South Ballroom.

Dental Clinic

  Thursday & Friday (Feb. 15 & 16), 10am-4pm, Pershing South Ballroom

MusiCares will host free dental clinics for music professionals. Eligible individuals will receive a complimentary dental exam, bitewing x-rays and a dental cleaning. Participants must document at least five years professional music career history and qualify through MusiCares. Use link below to fill out an application for pre-approval. Free Custom Ear Plugs

  Thursday & Friday (Feb. 15 & 16), 10am-4pm, Pershing South Ballroom

MusiCares will also be offering ear impressions for free custom ear plugs. An audiologist who will be onsite during select hours to provide valuable information on the importance of hearing conservation. Ear impressions will be taken for free custom musicians’ earplugs, which are will be provided compliments of MusiCares.
