The International Folk Music Awards

  The IFMA's will be streamed live from the Folly Theatre starting Feb. 14th at 7pm CT.

The International Folk Music Awards (IFMAs) are the premier presentation of folk music industry awards. Awards presented to honor leaders, legends, and rising talent in folk music are: member-voted the Lifetime Achievement Awards, and Artist, Album, and Song of the Year, Spirit of Folk, inductions into the Folk DJ Hall of Fame, and to honor the socially conscious roots of folk music, the People’s Voice* and Clearwater Awards.

The evening's host is multiple GRAMMY® Award nominee Ruthie Foster. Guest performances and presentations by John Oates, Guy Davis, Giri and Uma Peters, Anais Mitchell, and others.

Public tickets can be purchased online here for $30 each. A limited amount of discounted tickets are available to conference delegates as part of the registration process or $10 each.

Folk Alliance International's People's Voice Award is not connected to, inspired by, or affiliated with any other entities that share the same name, or similar iteration of the title “The People’s Voice.”
